Doula Roles
Physical Support
The doula offers comfort measures during labor, such as movement, positions, breathing and relaxation. She makes sure that the environment and the mother's wishes match what she needs.
Educational Support
It offers updated information so that the mother can make decisions according to her wishes during childbirth and supports them. Referrals are made based on the mother's needs.
Emotional Support
Doulas serve the pregnant mother and her family throughout their entire process, so that they can cope with the birth and postpartum process, since it is one full of emotions and sudden changes.
A little bit about me
Meet Doula Doracelis
As a wife and mother of five beautiful children, I have spent the past 17 years learning that each child is unique, with their own individual needs and personalities. My journey into doula services began with a deeply personal experience during the labor of my fourth child. This transformative event inspired me to support other mothers through their own childbirth journeys.
Since 2015, I have been a breastfeeding counselor for the WIC program, and in 2019, I became certified as a postpartum doula, focusing on caring for mothers and their children after childbirth. I am also currently certified as a Birth Doula, providing comprehensive support to women throughout their pregnancy and birth process.
Each of these roles has enriched my knowledge and deepened my passion for helping families. I am here to share this experience with you. Whether you need guidance during pregnancy, birth, or the postpartum period, I am available to answer your questions and support you in any way you need.
